Frequently asked questions
Do you offer payment plans?
Happy to! We can divide and schedule your payments up to the session or event date.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE? DO YOU HAVE A BACK-UP?
I've been photographing with Canon equipment for 8 years now. My new baby is the 5D Mark IV. I use prime lenses in photoshoots (35mm and 50mm), and will reach for the 24-70mm for proposals, weddings and events. I also love my new 100mm Macro lens for the detail shots! If your wedding goes into the evening or you have an indoor ceremony and/or reception, my flashes and bouncers will probably make an appearance.
WAIT! YOU PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS?
Indeed, I do! I take no more than 10 weddings per year and prioritize small intimate weddings with an average of 100 guests.
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR PHOTO SHOOTS and events?
Yep! I love being on the road and discovering new places.
DO YOU SHOOT DIGITAL OR FILM?
I was formally trained in both film and digital photography. Most of my photoshoots are done on digital format, while some of my personal work is done on film. I love experimenting with different photographic processes, so I've started to bring my film camera to shoots and will happily make test images with it if you allow me.
HOW LONG UNTIL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
Processing time for portrait sessions is 2-3 weeks. Weddings take 6-8 weeks for delivery of the full edited gallery. However, I do send a sneak peek with an average of 1o-20 images within a couple of days of your session or wedding.
DO YOU OFFER PRINTS AND ALBUMS?
Yes! There's nothing better than holding images in your hands. I get all giddy and happy when my clients ask me to print their photos. I offer signature fine-art prints in a variety of sizes, coffee table books with a beautiful fabric cover and matte finish, as well as classic lay-flat albums.
But I'd like to print the photos myself. Is that ok?
Absolutely! Your contract includes a personal print release and you receive high-resolution images that are perfect for printing.
Can I share the images online?
A thousand times yes! There are only two rules: 1. Remember to credit the image with @elisendallinares, and 2. Do not re-edit or add filters to the images.
Download privileges in packages include ready-for-web and high-res files with personal print release.
In order to hold your wedding date, a signed contract and a $1000 non-refundable retainer fee are required.
All prices before tax (MD sales tax apply). Packages' contents and pricing are non-negotiable.
Travel fees apply beyond 20 miles of Rockville, MD.
Most locations in Washington DC, especially the National Mall Parks and Monuments, require a photography permit for sessions. An application fee of $90 and a permit fee ranging from $50 to $250 apply to the cost of the contracted services. More information on this can be found here: Permit FAQs
